Additional Survey Data
As part of the survey process, we often ask panelists other demographic information (e.g. income level), and other information related to interests, hobbies, and product usage. We collect this information so that we can invite panelists to future surveys that fit their interests, and so that we can aggregate the responses received by various broad categories and report the aggregated results to our clients. We also summarize information about the panel to develop statistics ensuring that the panel is representative of the general population or market segment we are studying. Finally, we use this information to analyze how responses differ across demographic segments. For example, we may look at how answers differ among gender, age or income levels.
